Still Retired, But...

I'm still in bedbug retirement mode, but I wanted to point out this particularly helpful resource, aptly called The Bedbug Resource. It is put together and run by a pest professional/entomologist who has dedicated a large part of his life to the study of bedbugs. Please take a look.

And, as always (well, recently), please redirect yourself to the Bedbugger blog, which has loads of commentary and tips for people who are suffering with bedbugs. It is updated far more often than this site and probably at this point has more information than this site will ever have.

Caitlin,
Congraduations in conquering your bed bug problem! I am interested to know if your mattress was refurbished or not? Have you come across anyone on this blog or others who have had bed bugs due to refurbushed mattresses?

Hi Caitlin,
I'm a journalism student at Columbia and health reporter for the Bronx Beat, a newspaper that covers the South Bronx. I'm writing a service article on bedbugs - how to know you have them, what to do about them, etc. and I'm looking for some bedbug victims in the S. Bronx who would be willing to talk to me about their experiences. If you happen to know anyone, could you please pass my info along? I can be reached at cmh2133@columbia.edu and my name is Christina. Thanks again and great blog!

Hi Caitlin. Fortunately we do not have bedbugs in our home here in Vancouver, Canada, but we just saw you interviewed on Canadian Television...just thought I'd stop by and check out your site and educate myself.

God Bless You for this blog. You are all courageous and wonderful. Fortunately, I don't have them, but I know an epidemic when I see one. The info you post helps so many others do things to prevent or minimize an infestation.

Thanks! Some other websites that are useful for bed bug victims are www.bedbugregistry.com and www.bedbugcentral.com. bedbugregistry.com is a website that allows victims to post infested locations, such as apartments buildings and hotels. bedbugcentral.com is a educational website powered by bed bug experts such as Richard Cooper, who's main goal is to educate the public about bed bugs.

And check out my blog! Thanks :)
