Hi, I have bed bugs, discovered Labor Day, after mainly my husband getting bit for about 3 months, coincidentally after getting new furniture they ofcourse deny it, but I have seen the evidence of the bugs in the bed rails. Like you, I am practically an expert. Treated twice in early Sept. Waited 5 wks and then saw only 2 mid size bugs in the same room (which we moved out of) Think they were in the chair that was only lightly sprayed. Now that is gone, the bed is now gone and now waiting to move back in. Was told to wait at least 3-4 wks without cleaning the room so that residual pesticide will kill anything that crawls over it. The reason Iam posting is that i used 2x now,the bed bug dog, Jada from Advanced K9 Detectives in Milford, CT. Great service, expensive, but worth it for greater piece of mind. She was here this week and foung nothing in entire house, she is about 95 - 98 % effective, according to the owner. Anyway, this time after she gave the all clear, he planted a jar of bedbugs in another roomu under a chair and immideiately she found it and barked (the way she indicates bugs). She is coming back at the end of the month which is when I plan on moving back in the room. As you all know, what a nightmare. By the way, after my husband complained, he went to a NYC dermatologist who told him they were mosquito bites!!!! I should have called an exterminator. I have the sleep number bed adn the box spring is plastic with a cover over it that looks like a regular mattress and that is were we found them. Oh the horror. It was about 1 am after I saw one crawling in the bed and crawling on my shirt. Still sleeping with the ligh on. Good news is no bites since 9/1. Good luck and highly recommend Jada.
