Roach Update

Some of you have expressed an interested in ridding yourselves of roaches and I know that I share that interest, and so I'm posting my findings here to share with regard to the electronic roach repellent.

Billy brought one home from the Home Depot and we plugged it into the wall in the kitchen. Since then we have seen significantly fewer roaches, even though the packaging says it could take up to two weeks to see results. (We plugged it in about a week ago or so.) We have seen the occasional stray roach but definitely far less than we had been seeing.

The device seems to be pretty good. It has a plug on the side, so you don't even lose an outlet. I also understand that the recommendation is to move them around every once in a while, so the roaches don't get too used to the sound and figure out ways to avoid it. I also understand that it's better to buy a few of them and spread them around the apartment. They don't make any noise that is perceptible to humans, kind of like a dog whistle.

Overall, it's been only a week but the results have been good. For $7-8, it might be worth it to give it a shot. Let me know how it works out for you.
