It's Snot A Bedbug
Still nothing really new to report about the bedbugs. I'm a bit scared that I am being lulled into a false sense of security and that they will pop out of the woodwork (literally) when I least expect it and my skin will fall off in a pile of bedbug-infested itchiness and I will be sorry that I ever stopped inspecting the sheets before going to bed again. In one of those moments when I was trying not to be so lulled, I checked the sheets and thought I saw... A BEDBUG! My worst nightmare! Dear god.
Upon closer inspection, it turned out to be a crusty piece of snot.
Not sure that was much better than a bedbug, but at least snot doesn't bite.

i am having an exterminator come on sat. just for peace of mind, per everyones advice......
It sounds like you're doing everything you can! Anything to keep peace of mind.
My super is also sending an exterminator again on Saturday, even though I haven't seen anything in weeks. I think he wants the peace of mind too, which is A-OK with me!

its annoymous:) hows it goin? i just wanted to let you know i have never been soo happy to see a spider in my life!! i was doing my weekly look over the futon, in the only places tehy could hide, and i found a spider crawling, with reinforced two things: 1. spider bite, not a bed bug bite (the bite i was concerned about that prompted me to reply to you in the first place) and 2. that i would be able to see bedbugs if they were in fact hiding in my futon!

Things remain quiet on my front as well. I'm all for exterminating the species.

I have purchased a Outside Research brank bug bivy. I have not gotten bitten since sleeping in this. I know it sounds crazy, but at least you can sleep until you are able to win this fight!
